Steve and Scarlett Settle

Pap, Kimmy and family, Scarlett and I send our deepest regrets to you at this difficult time. While we are left to grieve we know Grandma is in a better place, most likely telling everyone she meets how foolish we are to cry for her. She was a unique woman that loved life and family and we were blessed to have known her. I posted a photo of grandma from Julian's birthday. She wasn't feeling the best but still came outside on that chilly spring day and spent time with us. After the kids had grabbed what candy they wanted from the piƱata it was gathered and put in a box, on the table in front of grandma. Even though she didn't have much of an appetite, for food that is, she did like tootsie rolls and started to dig thru the box attempted to put as many as she could into her housecoat pockets before any of her family could see her. Rest in peace Grandma Dugan, thank you for accepting us into your family. Steve and Scarlett.
