Obituary for Linda L. Dugan

Linda L. Dugan went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2016. She was born on April 15, 1948. She was the daughter of James F. Butts, Sr. and Beulah G. (Gantt) Butts.
Two daughters, April Dugan and Crystal Shumaker, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; which she loved them all very much. She loved them all the best that she knew how. She leaves a husband of 47 years, James that loved her very much. For over two years she fought health issues; with all she endured, she is in a much better place now. She worked with her husband in the grocery store business from 1970 to 1994. When Orchard Hill Farm Market closed she started her own catering business. She had two strokes that set her back and she had to retire. Then in March of 2014 she had to have aorta surgery and then another one September of 2014. She was a fighter and came through both; but had a hard time and got tired. I will miss you which I already have with a never ending love, Jim.
She leaves behind two sisters, Joyce Johnson, Brenda Elkins, and one brother, Gary Butts. She was preceded in death by her brother, James F. Butts, Jr.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at 2:00PM at the funeral chapel with Pastor Dave Caplinger officiating. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
