Phyllis Lee Elizabeth Bailey, 74 of Charles Town, departed this life Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center. Born October 2, 1943 in Shenandoah Junction, she was the daughter of the late Zola Belle Cole White and James Henry White. She attended Page Jackson High School and was a life time member of the Page Jackson Alumni Association. She was a member of House of Prayer Church #4.
She is survived by four Sons, Samuel White and wife Rhonda of Hedgesville, Edward Bailey, Jr. and partner Bessie Young of Charles Town, Kenyon Bailey and wife Nicole and Sean Bailey, all of Martinsburg, four daughters, Valerie Bailey of Martinsburg, Tamara Bailey and partner Kim Curry of Charles Town, Tiffany Hall and husband Davon of Ranson and Nichole Lee and husband Fred of Charlotte, North Carolina, twenty four grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roger Bailey, Sr., four young children and three sisters, Alice Hilliard, Pearl Fields and Mildred White.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Wainwright Baptist Church with the Pastor Paul E. Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8- p.m. Friday at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home.
