Daniel Bloxton Hager, 91, of Inwood, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Charlotte’s Home in Maugansville, MD.
Born December 8, 1926 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late Daniel Bloxton Hager and Mary Connick Hager.
He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He was known as a character and liked to joke a lot. He built the first solar house in Dunkirk, MD.
He is survived by one son, Daniel Bloxton Hager, III and wife Barbara; two daughters, Sharon Louise Berry, Joy Poulin and husband Roger; four grandchildren, Kimberly Camplin, Jennifer Berry, Tim Poulin and Danielle Poulin; one brother, Benjamin Hager; and beloved niece, Cindy Gregg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gregg Hager; and one grandson, Kenneth John Berry.
Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 3:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
