Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Bowers (Bowers)

Mary Elizabeth Bowers, 86, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Willow Tree Manor in Charles Town under the care of Hospice.

Born December 10, 1930, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Norman H. and Anna L. Kelly Bowers.

She is survived by one brother, Kevin Bowers , of Martinsburg; six sisters, Frances Domer of Inwood, Anna Bell Manor of South Carolina, Hazel Bowers of Florida, Darlene Allen of Gerrardstown, Eva Lee Plotner of Martinsburg, and Anna Mae Myers of Martinsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer Bowers, Norman H. Bowers, Jr., Allan Bowers, and Clifford Bowers; and three sisters, Dorothy Swindley, Dolly Bowers, and Geraldine Rogers.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. John Frattarola officiating.

Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
