Emmert G.  Moler Jr.
Emmert G. Moler, Jr.,86, of Berkeley County entered eternal life on June 20, 2016, after a lengthy illness.

He was born on September 3, 1929 in Berkeley County, WV to Florence A. VanMetre Moler and Emmert Moler and was raised in Moler's Cross Roads (Jefferson County). He graduated from Shepherdstown High School and attended Shepherd College.

He was a prominent Berkeley County dairy farmer belonging to numerous agricultural organizations, holding office in many of them.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodges and Shrine Temple.

He served in the US Army from 1955-1956, having a tour of duty in Germany.

He was a life member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Shepherdstown, WV.

He is survived by Eleanor Ann Shirley, his life-long companion and best friend. One brother, Fred T. Moler and wife, Helen of Martinsburg; brother-in-law, Elmer Vickers of Kearneysville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Catherine Moler Vickers and niece, Florence Ann Vickers, both of Kearneysville.

The family appreciates the services and kindness shown by the staff at Clary Grove and Elmcroft during this lengthy illness.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. .

Interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown. Bearers will be Scott Moler, Johnny Craig, John Vickers, Lawrence Vickers, Larine Vickers, and Bobbie Group

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, PO Box 2008, Shepherdstown, WV 25443.
