Obituary for Newton Cook Bray

Newton Cook Bray, 82, of Shepherdstown, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Berkeley Medical Center. Born June 9, 1933, in Boyd, Virginia, he was the son of the late Chandler Henry Bray and Annie Mae McKinley Marshall.
He was a well-known horseman.
He is survived by the Hill family, his close friends and caregivers; a brother, Powell McKinley Bray; a sister, Edith Ann Blackwell, 10 nephews, 6 nieces, and many other relatives.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. John Price officiating. Interment will be private.
