Kenneth Jacobs of Clary Grove, Martinsburg left this world and was reunited with his beloved wife Isabelle on May 19, 2016.
Born April 18, 1918, he was the son of Martha and Thomas Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles, and his wife of 67 years, Isabelle Jacobs.
He is survived by his daughter Janice Brody, his grandchildren Terry Lushbaugh and Kristi Monforte and her husband Bruce. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Hartley and Hayden Lushbaugh, Isabella, Anthony, and Allie Monforte. In addition he leaves behind cherished family; Sisters in law Hester Manning and Helen Mahoney and Brother in law Paul Canby and his wife Norma. Likewise his friends of many years, Edward Grove and John Conner, whose friendship and dedication will not soon be forgotten.
Kenneth was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Martinsburg.
He retired in 1982 after serving as a blacksmith for 35 years for B & O Railroad. He will be remembered as a man who put his faith and family before anything or anyone else. His devotion to his wife Isabelle, was something beyond comprehension. It is to be celebrated that the two of them have been reunited for eternity.
Services will be held on Wednesday May, 25 at Bethel Assembly of God in Martinsburg, WV. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 10am and the service will begin at 11am, with Pastor Arnold Brown officiating.
