Gary Bowman, long time resident of Bunker Hill, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 17. Gary is survived by his daughters Donna Bowman and Diana Bowman; grandson Kevin Lopez; predeceased by his father Charles Marion Bowman, mother Wanda Sellers Morrison, stepfather Ralph Morrison, brother Duane Bowman, and grandson Andy Pena. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gary grew up in Maryland but lived the majority of his life in West Virginia. He held many interesting jobs including working at a quarry, Vintner and Farrier. He had an abiding love of family, animals and of the Civil War and a vast knowledge of history. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Services and interment are prviate.
