Madeline Virginia Brown, 84, of Hedgesville passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Canterbury Center.

Born April 10, 1933 in Tomahawk, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry Kursey and Frances Virginia Palmer Kursey.

She was a member of Tomahawk Christian Church.

She is survived by one son, Larry R. Brown; one grandson, Larry "Buddy" R. Brown, Jr.; two brothers, Charles Jake Kursey of Martinsburg and Floyd Kursey of Hedgesville; and six sisters, Beulah Wilk of Hagerstown, MD, Alsetta Miller of Reading, PA, Lucille Zubritsky of Gosse Creek, SC, Linda O'Roke of Martinsburg, Wilma Myers of Hedgesville, and Faye Stokes of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Leo Kursey.

Services and interment are private.
