Melvin “Toby” Leroy Wright, Jr. 48 of Bunker Hill passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in the Adler Center for Caring, Aldie, Virginia. Born August 1, 1968 in Winchester, Virginia he was the son of Diana Marie Campbell Simpson of Bunker Hill, WV and the late Melvin Leroy Wright, Sr. He was of Baptist faith. Toby was a tree trimmer for Asplundt Tree Service. He was an avid redskins fan and loved Jeff Gordon.
In addition to his mother he is survived by step father Larry Simpson, two brothers, James Alan Wright and wife Elizabeth of Front Royal, Virginia and Aaron Simpson of Bunker Hill, three sisters, Sherry Braithwaite of Front Royal, Holly Fogle and husband Trevor of Shenandoah Junction and January Sowers and husband Kevin of Bunker Hill. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with Warren Wright officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.
