Fred "Hank" Paul Tenly, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born August 21, 1936 in Washington, DC he was the son of the late John and Ada Haines Tenly.

His claim to fame was that he had played in the movie "Sweet Dreams".

He is survived by two children, Jennifer Tenly-Day and Mike Tenly; love of his life, Darlene Tenly; five grandchildren, Taylor, Katie, Jake, Sarah, and Anna; one brother, Ernest Tenly; and three sisters, Anna Clay, Ellen Hines, and Edna Patton.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Albert, Lenwood, Joseph, Charles, and Raymond Tenly; and one sister, Alice Smith.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 3:30PM at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 2:30PM to 3:30PM prior to service at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
