Evelyn Lorraine Thompson, 87, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 20, 1929 in Harrisonburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Homer Ray and Virginia Roadcap Mussetter.

She was a member of the Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her children, Jewell Harrell and Charles D. Thompson, Jr. and wife, Mary K.; one granddaughter, Hope Lynn; and one sister, Esther Clark.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 p .m. to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service on Thursday.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Thompson, Sr.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
