Garry Lee Legeer, Sr., 66, of Shepherdstown, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the VA Medical Center.

Born July 4, 1949 in Cumberland, MD he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Bennett Legeer.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Elaine Rhodes Legeer; two sons, Garry L. Legeer, Jr. and Thomas A. Legeer; three daughters, Dorothy Delph, Sunshine Tomlinson, and Wendy Kenney; twenty-three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Bryce Legeer; and one sister, Sandra Morris.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Elaine Athey; and a granddaughter, Maleea Nicole Legeer.

Family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Interment will be private.
